Take 3

Hey everyone,

So here I am about 10 months later after saying that I would start blogging more often and yet I have not posted since January. Things in my life are slowly changing and I plan on embracing them with a giant smile on my face!

So since I last posted:
I still work a Full time job as retail manager (will not say where because of previous posts) and I just had my 3 year anniversary with my wonderful husband Aaron (still no babies). We moved in to our own place back in April and love the idea of living on our own (not a lot has happened in my life).

Since October is approaching (more like its tomorrow) I have many goals for the month of October not just with Blogging but with work, health, marriage, and my personal business. I am not sure how often I want to post or if I will be posting on celebrities, my fashion that I will be creating or want to create. October is where new things are beginning again for me.

Hi every one!

See I have failed my new years resolutions already I have not blogged since new years eve. Well lets be real I haven't worked out either. I was going to post something the day after Christmas but I never did. January is the worst time to be in retail. We get next to nothing in sales and it's nothing but returns all the time. There is no one in the mall I work at after 7 so I can get everything done quickly and get out and get home ASAP. 

I have been really wanting to get on a routine, where I got to bed early (by 10) and up early (by 6). I know crazy for someone who doesn't have kids, but one day I will and plus I have a business that I need to better my self with getting things done. The only way I can do that is if I get on a routine. None of that has been happening. I got to bed really late then get up with like an hour to a half till I have to leave for work. So I think I'm going to go to bed at like 11 then get up at maybe 9. I know I can do it if I put my mind to it.

I'm sorry have not thought of more things to write about. I'm hoping that I will have more interesting topics soon. If there is something you would like to here about, leave a comment. I am also hoping that in a few months that I will have my youtube channel up and running. I might keep writing while I vlog. So many decisions to make. What are your thoughts? I would love to hear from you guys. I know that there may not be a lot of you who read my blogs but your opinion matters!

New Years Eve

Hello everyone! I know I have been MIA but as you know I work in retail and I have been exhausted. But I wanted to blog on this last day of 2017 to let you know that I will be writing more and might even start a vlog (not for sure have to find my camera first). Today I will be doing a long list of things before I go to a NYE party! I will make breakfast for my husband (I do not do that like ever). I will finish taking down my christmas decor :(  Finish laundry so everything is nice and clean and orginized for the new year. Pick my NYE outfit. Go to my parents house get my exercise stuff and another tub for the rest of my christmas stuff. Then hopefully make some yummy chilli. Put on makeup (maybe video it) and get ready to ring in the new year! Oh and there might be some craft time in there as well.

As most I too have a list of things I would like to accomplish in 2018.

I am going to put myself on a better sleep schedule, therefore going to bed by 10pm and be up by 6am. Right now I really don't have a sleep schedule. As long as I am up in time to get dressed and drive to work, I will keep sleeping. Yes being in retail and having to close from time to time, the question becomes how will I be in bed by 10? Well I'm hoping that with me getting up early, that when I go to lunch at work that time is actually  my dinner time; then after work I shall snack while I prepare to go to sleep in a small window of time. 

To Work out again. Now my goal may include losing weight but I'm not to worried about losing weight right now. But to at least work out everyday.

To have a cleaning schedule. How hard can that be? Well it can be hard with someone with little to no motivation at all.

I believe I have more but that's what I have right now.

Confessions of a Retailer part 1

*I will not be mentioning what company I work for or what mall I work in to prevent problems*

I have only worked in retail for almost 5 years now. I have seen some crazy things happen in the mall and I have seen the most laziest of people too. My mindset is if you don't have money to shop then don't. Period. End of story. Because no matter how many items you try on we still have to hang the items back on the right hangers and put them back on the right racks and shelves because we know you don't remember where you grabbed them from, when you walked in the door 30 minutes to an hour ago. We all would appreciate it more if you didn't attempt to put things where you think they might go or even right next to where you were standing at that moment in time. Think about this what if someone else was interested in the same thing  you are and would like that shirt, but couldn't find it? And then I can not help them find it because you or someone else put it somewhere completely different then where it was supposed to be or it could be on a designated rack where we can put all of the items back where they are supposed to go so I don't have a problem  finding the item the other customer is asking for.

When you grab an item off of a table, and don't want it after all, and saw that it was folded in a specific way, please attempt to fold it the way you picked it up. I don't care if it is not in correct size order what I do care about is having to fix the way you had it folded  because you thought it was too complicated. Let's say you picked up a few shirts that are on the same bar but are in different colors and decide that you don't want them anymore please put them back with the same color, again I don't care if they are in size order, but we would prefer all the same colors to be kept together. It's the little things people. 

No matter how hard you make it for us we still have a job. Even if you say "oh its job security" no its not, you spending your money at our stores is what is our job security and it keeps your favorite store in the mall for you.

Welcome back/about me

Hi everyone I,m back! I know it has been a while and I said that I was going to try more to blog and then well to be real I got lazy. So I am changing the ways that I am and going to try super hard to no be lazy. I know this topic is a little boring but I want you to know who I am.

I am Brooke Wagner I am married to my wondeful husband of 2 years, Aaron! We have no kids yet but hoping that 2018 will be a blessing! My family is one of the best support systems I have! Of course have to start with my Dad. He not only help give me life but has been there for everything that life has offered me. He is my tow truck driver and my mechanic. He has saved me and my car(s) multiple times! Then his wife Tammy! She may not have given me life but she has helped me through life. She helped me through middle school high school and college she helped me build relationships and helped with relationships when I need them. She helped me with one of the biggest things to day and that was planing my beautiful wedding to Aaron. She has helped me as many times as my dad has. Then there is my red headed brother, Jordan. Hes just like any other little brother annoying as can be till you grow up and move away for college then. When ever I came home for a weekend I would go and watch him play hockey. He played for the high school team his senior year and it was great to see him play and graduate. Now that we don't see each other very often it's like seeing your best friend. We talk like we are friends more than family. He also get along with Aaron very well so because its like a brother he never had. Then I have a mother and a stepdad that are nice but don't really see of talk to and they are moving to Florida soon. Plus I have a step sister and a trans step brother and a niece and nephew all who I don't see or talk to.

That is my family now more on me.

I am a retail manager and been in retail going on 5 years now. I love fashion and little bit of the retail side of it but I just really want to dress mannies and change the store around then really deal with people. I also sell Mary Kay. When I am not working I'm at home watching netflix you name it I probably watched it and in record time. When friends came on to netflix I watched all 10 seasons in 3 months but I am currently watching sons of anarchy. I know im a little late on it but I have other shows I wanted to see first. I can not wait till the next season of shameless, Arrow, Flash, Super Girl, and many more other shows. I am constantly looking for new shows to binge watch. Since its almost Christmas I can safely say I love Christmas and yes I have been listing to some Christmas music since the beginning of November it is the brightest and happinest of holidays out there. Don't get me wrong I love the prestents but I love the movies and lights that come along with it. I only love snow on Christmas eve and Christmas day and then I could careless for it for the other 3 to 4 months that we get it for. I live in Michigan, so I could have it from the end of October til the middle of March but this year we have a had very little snow so far, and i am perfectly okay with that. Only 20 days till Christmas and I don't have all of my Christmas decor up which I guess It's okay since I'm the one that has to take it down as well.

I haven't decided if I want to write everyday, once a week, twice a week or once a month. It will depend on how many topics I can do or come up with. I will be doing a series called "confessions of a retailer." I look forward to writing this series in the coming time and I hope you enjoy reading it and enjoy getting to know me. Nextflix and chill (spoilers)

Today I will be talking about what I have been watching on TV or more so on Netflix. I have watched Gilmore Girls: A Year in a Life, Drop Dead Diva, Supergirl, and Fuller House and this has been with in the last two to three weeks. I know its like I have no life, but I just love watching TV but I think I might like the not only the plot behind the story lines but defiantly the fashion that happens to be apart of it all. It makes or breaks it for me.

Lets start with Gilmore Girls: A Year in a Life
If you have seen it yet each episode is a season - Winter, Spring, Summer, Fall

This particular dress on Rory (Alexis Bidel) is seen in the episode Spring or Summer (can not remember) and it is while she is back at Chiltion for alumni day and it fits perfectly and it is Rory style.

If you flash back to the Gilmore Girls days she is wearing a darker younger version of this dress. So Amy Sherman- Palladino; the creator/ producer having Rory wear this dress particularly is fitting brings a little of the old Rory into the new older more mature Rory. 

Now fast forward to the end of episode Fall when Lorli (Lauren Graham) finally marries Luke (Scott Patterson)! What we all have been waiting for right? Right!The dress that she is wearing speaks volumes to her second episode of season 1 of Gilmore Girls where she is wearing short shorts cowboy boots and a bright pink shirt...

...to this lovely put together peterpan neckline black dress. Besides Lorli's oops of an outfit in season one she is very well put together for the rest of the series.

Next on our list is Drop Dead Diva

If you ever seen Drop Dead Diva then you know that its an intresting show for sure but the creators and or producer's have it right with all of the handbags, shoes and most of all the dresses that all the ladies wear. Jane Bingum (Brooke Elliot) wears a lot of blazers that she is constantly pulling forward when she knows she is winning her case. Or just finish a sentence.

She is always in dark colors to help accentuate the waist and make it flattering. But in one episode she wears a beautiful purple blazer the brightens her skin tone right up! As you can see she just lights up the room!

Finally on our list is Fuller House

Cause who didn't live full house growing up? Now if they could just add that to Netflix I would be doing just fine. But they way they revamped DJ Fuller [Tanner] (Candace Cameron Bure) with her hair is always curled and a dress that can make any jaw drop.

Pretty Little Liars

Right now I am obsessed with PLL. The style that they have them wear is the best ever!!!

They look so flawless in this picture (Above). My favorite style out of the four of them is Aria (Lucy Hale) and Hanna (Ashley Benson). But in this picture specifically I love all of there dresses.

In this picture they all look so classic and not to done up except for Hanna (Ashley Benson), she has the most dressed up look in this picture.

If any of you who have seen this TV show then I can ruin it (spoiler alert), this is the night Spencer (Troian Bellisario) finds out that Toby is part of the A-team and doesn't tell the rest of the girls till later. (Above)

My two favorite of all. This is when they put on the fashion show for in memory of Allison. (Above and below)

The picture above shows the bad girl side of the girls and the picture below shows the girly side of them. I love that there style changes but it still says who they are in either way.
